2010 TI ARM Selection Guide
As industrial equipment has become more high-performance, devices naturally follow the same trend toward higher performance. In addition to simple processing capabilities, industrial applications now require diverse connectivity options including Ethernet, transmission-related protocols, and USB, leading to high-performance processors equipped with various peripherals. In response to this environment, TI has introduced ARM-based ARM Cortex-M3, A8, and ARM9-based new processors, releasing over 30 different processors divided broadly into MCU and MPU categories, and has prepared a Selection Guide regarding these product launches and released processors.
