Smart Circuit Design Data Management and Operation Plan
Electronic products undergo a development process where components, circuits, and PCBs are connected and integrated, and the manufacturing process is based on this data.
Therefore, component/Library management as the foundation is essential, along with management of Design Data for circuits and PCBs, and output management for manufacturing.
Currently, operations are conducted manually by developers, technicians, and managers, or operated in separate silos, which poses significant time consumption and risk of errors.
This must be transitioned to a system-based operation where verification, management, and history tracking can be maintained with minimal manual intervention.
Most companies fundamentally need to verify "the three-point consistency: schematic - PCB Design - BOM" not manually but through a system, thereby preemptively eliminating unnecessary time and errors while helping to establish an efficient work environment and stable conditions for quality assurance.
First, we will explain the measures for "why components must be managed and how they should be managed,"
and second, we will provide guidance on "how to link circuits and PCBs in component management and how the BOM should be structured and supported."
We will explain how these measures are implemented within a web-based enterprise system.
