Xilinx Embedded Vision Seminar Part 2: Surveillance
Following the Embedded Vision Seminar Part 1. Machine Vision held on March 28th, we will be conducting the second web seminar of the Embedded Vision Seminar on June 8th, focusing on surveillance, or security-oriented video processing.
First, we will briefly review the content covered in the previous seminar regarding the embedded vision market and Xilinx's advantages in the embedded vision market.
We will examine the major trends in the surveillance, or security-oriented vision system industry, and explore what advantages can be gained by utilizing Xilinx solutions in security vision systems. Next, we will explain what surveillance applications are available, and describe the technical trends in the security vision market.
We will then briefly look at the implementation of training and inference, which are major components of machine learning, in implementing surveillance applications that are increasingly being combined with recent machine learning. We will also examine the general flow of security vision system implementation and briefly organize the Xilinx Eco system support available at each stage.
Additionally, in this web seminar, we are hosting an engineer from MathWorks, an important partner of Xilinx, and will hear an explanation of MathWorks' image and video processing workflow that enables rapid code generation targeting Xilinx devices using MathWorks' design environment. We will also learn about Vision HDL toolbox and HDL coder, among others.
Finally, we will demonstrate several practical examples using actual Vision HDL toolbox and HDL coder, explaining the advantages you can gain when utilizing such tool flows.
