# Measurement Technology for MIPI Development and Optimization and ADAS Application Cases
Today, MIPI (Mobile Industry Protocol Interface) enables remarkable user experiences through highly innovative electrical signal processing and protocol technologies. Led and standardized by the MIPI Alliance, these technologies handle electrical signals and protocol processing between various devices and application processors within mobile devices. Now, their application scope is expanding beyond mobile to automotive, IoT, and medical devices.
However, the development and optimization of such interfaces create considerable stress for practitioners and are highly time-consuming. This is because frequent protocol updates, numerous parameters and lanes, unique signal processing requirements, and complex protocol interactions must be validated.
In this webinar, we examine standardization trends in MIPI technology—particularly D-PHY and C-PHY—and the fundamentals underlying these technologies. We introduce various MIPI D-PHY/C-PHY measurement solutions from Introspect Technology, which won the Best Design & Test Award at DesignCon 2015 with the world's first 4-lane MIPI C-PHY analyzer, and commercialized the world's first D-PHY 1.2/2.0 analyzer in 2017.
Finally, we examine how MIPI technology is being applied to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) for vehicle safety and collision avoidance based on sensors, and present case studies on verifying ADAS performance optimization using D-PHY analyzers.
We welcome strong interest and participation from mobile camera and display interface design, development, test/measurement practitioners, mobile system design/integration engineers, project managers, and applications engineers.
