[5G 1] 5G NR Physical Layer Update (3GPP RAN1 Update)

3GPP has completed Stage 3 standards for 5G NR NSA and SA technologies in December of last year and June of this year, following discussions on channel models, performance requirements, operational scenarios, and component technologies.

This presentation will review major 3GPP 5G standardization trends and examine the PHY Layer standards of NR 5G, including Waveform, Numerology, Frame Structure, Initial access, Beamforming, Channel Coding, Wideband Operation, and DL/UL PHY Channel.
