Understanding ARM Cortex-M0 Microcontrollers: Hands-on Training (Program Installation Required - See Bottom of Page)

In this webinar, we will conduct hands-on training using MCUs equipped with ARM Cortex-M0 cores.

ARM's Cortex-M0, with its relatively low gate count compared to other M-series processors, was essentially born for the design of compact mixed-signal SoCs.
Therefore, while not as popular as Cortex-M3 MCUs in the general-purpose MCU market, companies leading the ARM Cortex-M family MCU market such as ST Microelectronics or NXP have included it in their ARM Cortex-M family MCU roadmaps.

Today, we will conduct hands-on training on actual S/W development based on ST Microelectronics' STM32F0 series MCUs.
ST Microelectronics distributes evaluation boards under the name of Discovery Boards at very affordable prices, which has the advantage of allowing anyone to easily access the desired MCU.
Additionally, the Discovery Board includes a serial-USB converter and a ST-LINK2 debugger environment, enabling simple use without the need for separate equipment or expenses for S/W development. 

Through the most basic LED blinking experiment using actual MCUs, we will examine development environment setup and S/W library usage methods together.
