Currently, the CPU market is dominated by three major vendors. Intel's x86-based CPUs hold the largest market share in the PC market, and Apple's MC68-based CPUs dominate the PC and mobile markets. ARM, on the other hand, has nearly monopolized the embedded market.
Intel, Apple, and ARM, which currently hold these markets, do not disclose their CPU design technologies, and users must pay licensing fees.
However, as CPUs have rapidly evolved from 32-bit to 64-bit, winds of change have begun to blow in the CPU market.
This wave of change is being driven by RISC-V.

RISC-V has designed its instruction set more efficiently compared to existing x86 and ARM architectures, and operates at very low power consumption.
