# Global Success Cases Top 3: Equipment Automation and Control Solutions

While we have been discussing Schneider Electric's smart factory solutions and technologies so far, this time we have prepared a session to share actual customer cases that have applied real smart machine solutions.

Schneider Electric is a company headquartered in France, and is currently a global company with 137,000 employees working in over 100 countries worldwide.

As such, there are various customer success cases in different regions including Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

In particular, this time we would like to present to you three cases showing how customers have revolutionized equipment performance with Schneider Electric solutions in the packaging equipment sector, food and beverage equipment sector, and material handling and conveyance sector.


The first case is the example of SOMIC, a German coffee capsule packaging machine manufacturer that wanted to manufacture compact yet high-performance packaging equipment.




The second case is the example of Berto, an Indonesian coffee roasting machine manufacturer that sought to expand production volume and dramatically reduce operational maintenance time.




The third case is the example of UPS, the world's largest package delivery company in the United States, which has implemented smart logistics and delivery systems to respond to the explosive demand of 24-hour online e-commerce.
