Understanding Component Characteristics for RF Circuit Design
This webinar is presented with sponsorship from Mouser.
This lecture is a seminar designed to understand the concepts and operating principles of passive and active components necessary for RF circuit design, as well as the characteristic parameters described in datasheets.

In recent RF circuit design, transmitters and receivers are often integrated on a single chip, resulting in few external discrete components being mounted outside the chip.
Therefore, it is difficult to understand the characteristics of individual components.
The reason we must understand RF components well is that this allows us to infer the component characteristics within the transceiver chip, and when transceiver testing is performed later, we have the opportunity to consider how to respond if the results do not meet specifications.
Additionally, when RF components are external to the transceiver chip, understanding individual components becomes an even more critical matter.

RF circuits are difficult because wireless communication takes place in free space through many obstacles, and performance improvements must be made accordingly.
While it is difficult to cover the full range of RF circuit design in this lecture, the seminar will contribute to presenting a direction for designing high-performance RF circuits.
We welcome the participation of those engaged in RF circuit-related fields and those interested in understanding wireless communications.
