RF Technology for 5G mmWave Wireless
This webinar covers RF technology for 5G millimeter-wave (mmWave) wireless, with a particular focus on the base station domain.
What is 5G? 5G refers to the wireless generation following 4G, but 5G holds greater significance than that. 5G will lead the wireless standard over the next decade through 2030. To establish this type of network foundation, we need to think about what will happen going forward.

Next, we will explore millimeter-wave (mmWave), the core topic of this webinar. Starting with an overview of key factors to consider in this frequency range—deployment and path loss—we will examine the technology of these commonly used architectures and provide an overview of beamforming architecture.
Finally, we will learn about bit-to-millimeter-wave wireless. During the presentation, you will clearly understand how the separation of the wireless portion or up/down conversion is handled in the beamformer.
