Noise Issues and Considerations for Hardware Circuit Design that are Easy to Overlook in Practice
Mouser Korea regularly conducts online and offline seminars to help engineers facing circuit design challenges. This lecture will cover how to approach noise problems that can occur during hardware circuit design.
This lecture will address how to approach noise problems that can occur during hardware circuit design.
In actual circuits, a design-based approach is possible, but predicting where noise will appear is not easy without extensive experience. Additionally, when reviewing circuits or PCB layouts, it is difficult to know where to start.
Noise mitigation measures must be studied theoretically. This is because it is difficult to fabricate and test PCBs experimentally. Since it is nearly impossible to individually experiment with gradually changing noise phenomena, conceptual theoretical principles must come to mind during design. Then, if empirical elements are well integrated afterward, noise reduction will no longer be a difficult matter.
Along with content on aspects that were overlooked during actual design, and to provide a comprehensive overview of noise issues, this lecture will explain noise generation principles, the flow of ground current on transmission lines, understanding characteristic impedance and reflection phenomena, electromagnetic induction phenomena with practical cases, and finally electromagnetic radiation principles. Through this, you will have an opportunity to understand how actual noise is generated.
