RISC-V Linux Kernel and Device Driver Porting Methods
Mouser Korea regularly conducts online and offline seminars to assist engineers, and in this webinar, we will share information on RISC-V Linux kernel and device driver porting methods.
While ARM cores are most commonly used in embedded environments, the RISC-V architecture is receiving renewed attention as CPUs advance into 64-bit environments.
RISC-V offers comparable performance to ARM cores but has the advantage of operating at lower power consumption through efficient instruction set design. In the future, ARM and RISC-V are expected to develop in parallel within 64-bit embedded CPU environments, and if RISC-V is distributed at a more affordable price point, we anticipate an increase in the user base.
This webinar will particularly cover the latest Linux kernel source porting methods for RISC-V and device driver operation methods.
The webinar will proceed with an introduction to RISC-V architecture and explanations at the Linux kernel source level regarding clocks, timers, interrupts, device trees, and drivers.
