ISO26262 Standard Certification, Complete Functional Safety Validation for Automotive Semiconductors
This webinar will cover ISO 26262 certification and comprehensive functional safety verification for automotive semiconductors.
The automotive semiconductor market is one of the fastest-growing markets. The demand for semiconductors used in vehicles is continuously increasing, and notably, the role of semiconductor chips in autonomous vehicles at level 3/level 4 is responsible for vehicle control, information transmission to the driver, and ensuring controllability, making them essentially responsible for most of the vehicle's operation and safety.

If you are developing IP or semiconductors targeting the automotive market, developing products according to the procedures guided by this standard to ensure safety, as well as obtaining audits and certification of the resulting deliverables, has now become an essential element.
From the perspective of automotive semiconductor developers, in response to these requirements, there has arisen a need for an additional development flow called Functional Safety, in addition to the functional verification that has been traditionally performed. This is an entirely new field that requires additional effort and time investment, and above all, since the items that certification bodies require for submission are extremely broad, the application of new methodologies to secure the TAT of Functional Safety is an absolute necessity.
