# Securing Embedded Software Intellectual Property (IP) Using IAR Systems' C-Trust
The importance of protecting valuable intellectual property cannot be overstated. In this webinar series provided by Microchip, we will discuss how to implement efficient IP protection using state-of-the-art encryption technology. We will also cover the latest IoT-related regulations and recommended design guidelines for connected devices, as well as how to implement root of trust using MCU (microcontroller) hardware.
