Post-Corona Era: Review of New Measurement Trends in Response to Changing Test Environments

We are living in a new normal that departs from our existing everyday life due to COVID-19. Fundamentally, social distancing to minimize contact continues. While this is an essential measure to protect the health and safety of the nation, we simultaneously face the challenge of having to work in new ways.

In particular, for engineers, development projects for new product launches cannot be halted.

Therefore, if we can establish a digitalized system during isolation—that is, a "remote control" system—that enables us to continue development testing, the post-COVID era will no longer be a crisis but rather a powerful opportunity.


In this webinar, we introduce for the first time Tektronix's new solution, "TekScope".

TekScope is remote control software that allows you to control an oscilloscope in a cloud environment. Now you can easily control your oscilloscope by synchronizing it with your PC from home. It is compatible with Tektronix's mid-range scope 4/5/6 Series oscilloscopes, and since it is provided free of charge as standard, we expect it will be beneficial to many users.

We will share specific approaches and ideas for utilizing TekScope through this webinar.


 

Finally, we will address high-speed embedded design challenges, a current trend in the electrical and electronics industry.

Increasingly diverse sensors are being applied to designs, and through these sensors, data is being generated exponentially, making embedded design ever more complex. This is because we are using faster clocks and high-speed serial buses to handle large volumes of data, moving and processing more data.

Therefore, capturing "high-speed" signals that process large volumes of data simultaneously down to extremely "fine" levels must necessarily be done first, and the ability to intelligently debug these captured signals will become a core competency of design engineers going forward.
