Electrical Characteristic Evaluation of DC/DC Converters - Part 2
Semiconductor manufacturer Rohm develops and provides a wide range of products including discrete semiconductors, LSIs, and modules. In particular, we also provide useful information related to regulators, LDOs, and DC/DC converters to support power supply design.
In this webinar, under the theme of "Electrical Characteristics Evaluation of DC/DC Converters – Part 2," we will explain the definition and measurement methods of frequency characteristics.

The first topic is frequency characteristics.
We will explain the meaning of frequency characteristics, the stability and responsiveness of DC/DC converters, and the principle of how oscillation occurs.
The second topic is the measurement method for frequency characteristics.
We will explain the measurement method using a frequency analyzer and discuss the importance of securing phase margin and gain margin.

The third topic is the relationship between frequency characteristics and load response.
We will confirm the actual measurement results and explain the relationship between frequency characteristics and load response.
The fourth topic is frequency characteristics simulation.
We will explain how to confirm changes in frequency characteristics when component values are modified by utilizing simulation.
