This webinar introduces Analog Devices' comprehensive Energy Meter product lineup.
Various solutions are being provided for single-phase and three-phase Energy Meter applications, Power Monitoring, and products with isolation functionality. In line with the growing societal emphasis on energy conservation, energy metering chips are being applied in diverse applications.
For example, they can be applied to various applications including slow EV chargers, utility/residential single-phase and three-phase electricity meters, street light controllers, security lighting, data center power monitors, transformer power monitors, Panel Meters, smart plugs, and electricity billing meters.
Recently, Analog Devices and Analog World have been providing evaluation boards that we manufacture in-house for engineers who do not specialize in power systems. A Windows GUI is also provided, enabling faster and easier development using this development environment.
This evaluation board provides instantaneous values of voltage, current, power factor, active power, reactive power, and apparent power as standard features, and supports power quality-related functions such as THD, Zero Crossing, Line Frequency, Dip, Swell, and phase angle. Cumulative active energy is also provided.
Additionally, the Cycle Capture function required for three-phase power monitor functionality and the ability to extract only desired harmonic orders from up to the 50th harmonic are also supported.
