LTSpice: High-Performance Simulator for Easy Simulation of Switching Regulators
This webinar introduces the LTspice simulator and is composed of three sections: LTspice overview, schematic editor, and waveform viewer.
LT SPICE is a simulator tool that offers very fast speed, accurate analysis data, and high stability.
LT SPICE includes macro models, over 200 operational amplifier models, resistor, transistor, and MOSFET models. Through simulations utilizing these, it will be helpful in verifying the expected results.
LTspice®: Overview
In the overview section, as an improvement of Spice, we will demonstrate how switching regulator simulation has become significantly faster compared to standard Spice simulators, allowing users to view waveforms for most switching regulators in just a few minutes.
The overview provides the advantages of using LTspice, usage methods, and download procedures.
LTspice®: Schematic Editor
Unlike many schematic capture programs, the schematic editor in LTspice has clearly documented procedures for running SPICE simulations.
That is, when clicking on an object, the default behavior is not selecting the object for editing, but rather measuring the current passing through that component or the voltage on that wire.
Through this section, we provide an introduction to using capture program functions in circuit layout to enable rapid circuit creation and editing.
LTspice®: Waveform Viewer
Finally, LTspice includes an integrated waveform viewer along with the schematic editor to make displaying and reviewing simulation data easy.
We introduce how to use the LTspice waveform viewer for simple circuit analysis to quickly review design modifications.
