In the series of processes from product design and evaluation through mass production, implementing and evaluating countermeasures against noise is extremely important. As development progresses, the available noise countermeasure techniques and means become more limited, and the costs required for countermeasures continue to increase.
Therefore, sufficient review and evaluation must be conducted in the early stages of product development to enable effective noise countermeasures with adequate margins.

Furthermore, it is important to understand the types and characteristics of noise and to implement effective countermeasures for each type of noise. Inappropriate countermeasures based solely on experience may actually worsen noise and require repeating the product development process, thereby wasting all effort, time, and cost involved.
This Rohm seminar, as Part 2 of "EMC Countermeasures for DC/DC Converters," will examine noise generated in switching power supplies and explain various countermeasures for addressing them.
First, we will review the noise sources and propagation paths explained in Part 1.
Second, we will examine the characteristics of noise generated in switching power supplies and noise occurring in parasitic components.
Third, we will introduce noise countermeasures through PCB layout.
Fourth, following Part 1, we will introduce noise countermeasure methods using peripheral components in power supply circuits.

We hope this webinar will provide an excellent opportunity to understand EMC countermeasures for DC/DC converters.
