AMR ROS Testing with Gazebo Utilization and URDF Writing Methods

Mouser Korea regularly conducts online and offline seminars to assist engineers, and in this webinar we will share information on Gazebo utilization and URDF writing methods.

Before developing any moving object, object modeling and simulation testing are essential processes for defect-free object manufacturing.

This is because the component level and strength characteristics required for development vary depending on the operating environment and load conditions of the object to be developed.

The seminar we have prepared will cover methods for digitally implementing such actual field conditions and applying and testing object configuration and software logic in a virtual environment.

While there are various tools used by actual engineers, we will utilize Gazebo, which is the most commonly used, to review matters concerning gravity, velocity, acceleration, and inertia, and will conduct AMR simulation through objects with ROS-based software applied.

Through this, we will examine packages such as Robot Description, Robot Gazebo, and Robot Tools, and will discuss methods for writing URDF files to construct robot models based on these.
