Exploring the Latest Oscilloscope Technology Trends Through the 5 Series B MSO

This webinar introduces Tektronix's new product 'Series 5 B MSO' oscilloscope, which was launched in January this year.

This new product is a successor model to the existing Series 5 MSO oscilloscope.

The existing oscilloscope model was released in 2017 and has been consistently favored in the mid-range oscilloscope market. The B model released this January maintains the advantages of the existing model while introducing various performance improvements.

 

The Series 5 B MSO oscilloscope features an AUX IN input that allows the oscilloscope to synchronize with external signals without consuming existing input channels.

Additionally, when the built-in arbitrary function generator is specified as an option, the maximum frequency output doubles from 50 MHz in the existing model to 100 MHz, the highest in its class, making board plotting and impedance measurement much easier.

This plays an important role in quickly and thoroughly checking power integrity in power distribution networks, which are becoming increasingly critical.

Additionally, remote control functionality has been enhanced to support the increasingly challenging research environment due to the prolonged pandemic.

The new Series 5 B MSO supports remote control for engineers working outside laboratories or offices.

Users can analyze data from anywhere via PC using software such as Tekscope and Tekdrive, and share results through the cloud.
