Clear Explanation! LED Handling Methods

Recently, the adoption of LEDs as light sources is increasing across various devices based on the merits of long lifespan, high efficiency, and low power consumption.
In this webinar, we will introduce the fundamentals of LEDs and precautions when using them, focusing on these "LEDs".

The first topic is key points to note in datasheets.
First, among the items to focus on in the datasheet, we will explain absolute maximum ratings, electrical/optical characteristics, and characteristic data.
Then, we will explain how actual LEDs are used through a simple LED circuit configuration.

The second topic is handling precautions during mounting.
We will explain precautions that should be taken during mounting according to the internal structure of the LED, and handling considerations based on package size and solder quantity.
The third topic is measures to improve LED reliability.
LED products have an issue where luminous intensity decreases with prolonged use. We will introduce how Rohm has addressed this problem, including the methods and improved product series.
Finally, the method to suppress variations in LED optical characteristics.
In sets with many LEDs mounted, many customers specify luminous intensity grades due to concerns about luminous intensity variation. We will introduce Rohm's approach to meeting these market demands.
