Long-Distance Drone Communication and Control with Delivery Drone Real-World Cases
Drones are being used in almost every domain, from our daily lives to battlefields such as the Russia-Ukraine war, and advanced industrial sites.
In particular, recently, drones have been moving beyond the existing short-range operations to perform long-range missions spanning several kilometers, including industrial safety monitoring and video recording at factories, as well as maritime delivery to remote island areas.
To perform these long-range missions with drones, it is essential to have drone communication technology that enables precise control of the drone.
Since drones generate high levels of EMI due to propeller signal noise and complex processing of various sensors, practical operational expertise is important to establish a safe long-range communication environment.
Additionally, control technology for safe operation such as flight planning, flight control, position tracking, and autonomous navigation is equally important as communication technology.
Therefore, in this webinar, we have invited Hwang Ui-chul, Chief Executive Officer of Marine Drone Technology, who holds an actual delivery drone transport license, to discuss long-range drone communication and control as well as practical cases of delivery drones.
