Automotive Ambient Lighting Solution Using Microchip ISELED® Controller and ILaS® Interface
Recent automotive interior lighting applications feature hundreds or more RGB LEDs. Color and brightness control of these RGB LEDs enable automotive interior lighting implementation, and by arranging the lighting in point, line, and surface configurations according to design, diverse visual effects can be achieved.
This lecture first examines the challenges that can arise in mass production of conventional automotive interior lighting and implementation of various dynamic scenarios, and introduces ISELED® and ILaS® networks as solutions to overcome these limitations.
Microchip provides various microcontroller product families and software libraries for lighting control, and diverse scenarios for automotive interior lighting can also be implemented utilizing Microchip's proprietary robust touch interface.
We will first examine the various microcontroller product families in detail, and also explore the configuration and usage methods of software libraries for ISELED® lighting control.
