To overcome difficulties in industrial fields following COVID-19 and meet the increasing demand for non-face-to-face services, digital transformation utilizing new technologies such as IIoT-based digital twin, intelligent robots, big data, and AI is being implemented across all industries.

This conference presents methods for constructing smart factories based on IIoT-based digital twin and robotics technology.

Digital twin is a virtual model of a physical object or system in the real world, and by applying data collected through IIoT to the digital twin, optimal operational and maintenance policies can be established.

Robots are attracting attention as a future strategic industry and their application is expanding across all manufacturing and service domains. Robots automate simple repetitive tasks at production sites and prevent safety accidents, providing benefits such as supply chain improvement, risk reduction, and cost savings. In particular, intelligent robots will be able to collect and monitor robot status data through IIoT in the future.

While recognizing the importance of digital transformation, to overcome sites still facing difficulties in actual implementation and achieving results, we introduce methods and actual cases in which robot experts provide customized support for production and work automation and intelligentization at manufacturing sites.

Furthermore, by providing insights into advanced robots such as intelligent logistics robots and collaborative robots, this will serve as a venue to understand future robot market prospects and support industrial productivity improvement and sustainable growth across all sectors.
