Harmonizing High-Precision Control and Security, Introducing the Value-Oriented MCU Infineon PSOC™ Control C3 System

PSoC™ Control C3 is Infineon's latest industrial MCU that provides control functions optimized for motor control and power conversion.

This product family is based on a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M33 core and can be applied to a wide range of industrial and consumer applications including robotics, home appliances, communication equipment, air conditioning units, and power tools.

In particular, PSoC™ Control C3 can implement high-efficiency and high-precision control by integrating with GaN and SiC-based wide bandgap (WBG) power electronics solutions through high-resolution PWM (HRPWM), ADC up to 12 MSPS, and a CORDIC arithmetic unit. This enables reduction of power loss and improvement of overall system efficiency.

In terms of security, it supports PSA Level 2 certification and provides TrustZone®, Secure Boot, firmware protection, and OTA (Over The Air) update functions to protect systems from security threats in industrial and consumer devices, making it suitable for ODM/customer software asset protection.
