Course Overview and Objectives
This advanced course is designed for engineers who design high-sensitivity analog circuits or sensor-based systems. It systematically covers the operating principles of low-noise and low-power circuits, trade-offs, micro-current measurement techniques, constant current source design, and sensor interface architecture.
Based on 35 years of practical experience by Professor Jo Sung-jae from Shinhan University,
this course provides in-depth coverage of the core elements of precision measurement circuit design: noise and sensitivity degradation issues in low-noise/low-power design, error factors in IV Converter circuits in the pA to nA range, constant current source structures using transistors, operational amplifiers, and FETs, practical considerations in ADC input voltage conversion design, and sensor-type-specific interface configurations.
