Vertiv announced today the availability of the Vertiv™ Liebert® GXE, an online, double-conversion, single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for 230V applications designed to support mission-critical applications installed at the network edge, in capacities ranging from 1kVA to 3kVA.

With the addition of the new models, the Liebert® GXE family now includes models ranging from 1kVA to 10kVA and is available for immediate shipment in Asia, including Australia and New Zealand.

Liebert® GXE 1–3KVA UPSs are available in compact tower-only models or flexible rack/tower convertible designs and deliver high efficiencies of up to 91% in online mode and up to 96% in ECO mode.

These products feature a battery management system that extends battery life and minimizes the need for battery replacement.

Additionally, the product's output power factor (PF) is 0.9, allowing more active loads to be connected within a given space, and it supports online double conversion technology to protect equipment from power failures.
<br /> Liebert GXE rack/tower models support the addition of up to four external battery cabinets, providing scalable runtime for applications that require increased backup during AC mains power outages, and a powerful 6A internal charger provides fast recharging.

Hot-swappable VRLA batteries can be replaced by users without disconnecting the load power or requiring skilled personnel, ensuring smooth operation and reducing maintenance costs.

The Liebert GXE is easy to install and operate, featuring an intuitive LCD display that provides easy access to UPS status.

The unit offers remote monitoring capabilities, allowing easy access to your IT infrastructure via the optional Vertiv™ Liebert® Intellislot™ Unity Communications communications card and free downloadable Vertiv™ Power Insight software.
