15 AI startups introduced at MWC25 4YFN
SK Telecom (CEO Yoo Young-sang) has prepared a promotional event to discover AI startups and help them advance into the global market.
SKT announced on the 27th that it will present AI collaboration cases and innovative technologies to the world together with 15 AI startups hoping to enter the global market under the slogan 'Do the Good AI with Startups' at 4YFN (4 Years from Now), a side event of 'MWC25'.
'4YFN' is an exhibition that discovers promising startups with the potential to participate in the MWC main exhibition, provides a venue for exchange, and helps with startups. It will be held from March 3rd to 6th at Hall 8.1 of Fira Gran Via, where 'MWC25' is held.
MWC addresses the issue of resolving the information technology gap and social inequality as important agendas, and '4YFN' has established itself as a venue for active exchange between promising startups with innovative technologies.
SKT has been operating a booth with the theme of ‘AI Innovation Startup’ at ‘4YFN’ since last year to support AI startups’ entry into the global market, and this year, it is conducting various collaborations with 15 AI startups, including XL8, NotaAI, and TUAT, which joined the ‘K-AI Alliance’. We will introduce cases and showcase AI innovation technologies.
XL8 is a startup that provides media translation solutions and real-time AI subtitles and interpretation services. At SK AI Summit 2024, it provided real-time interpretation of the entire event in the form of subtitles through its self-developed AI interpretation subtitle service, ‘EventCAT.’
NotaAI is a company that develops on-device generation AI and AI optimization solutions, and has developed AI-based on-device power consumption reduction technology in cooperation with SKT.
TUAT has developed an AI-based visual assistant voice guidance app, Sullivan Plus, which won the GSMA Global Mobile Awards in 2022 and 2024.
In addition, various AI innovation startups such as Yatav Enter, Hudson AI, Stress Solution, Nabipra, Vtouch, and Nation A will participate and showcase innovative technologies and services.
SKT Eom Jong-hwan, head of ESG Promotion at SKT, said, “We have set up an exhibition booth with the theme of ‘AI Innovation Startup’ this year as well as last year,” and added, “SKT plans to continue to discover innovative AI startups that are helpful for social development and cooperate to create a sustainable society.”
