u-blox, a leader in global positioning and short-range communication technologies, is launching a cost-effective GNSS module that delivers centimeter-level positioning accuracy, taking the lead in popularizing global high-precision positioning technology.

u-blox has launched the ZED-X20P full-band GNSS module that combines centimeter-level precision with economical performance.

This product is designed to provide high-precision navigation capabilities to the mass market while reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) by up to 90% compared to existing solutions.

The ZED-X20P implements high-precision navigation suitable for a wide range of industries including smart construction, surveying, precision agriculture, railway, marine, and mining, as well as potential applications such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), smart cities, and virtual reality.

This module can simultaneously receive various signal bands, including major GNSS satellites around the world, SBAS, QZSS, and NavIC satellites. Another major advantage is that it can utilize high-precision correction services without additional hardware.

Through u-blox’s PointPerfect service, the ZED-X20P provides network RTK and global PPP corrections, and supports Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS), giving customers the freedom to choose between free and commercial correction services. When combined with a full-band antenna such as the ANN-MB2, a one-stop solution can be implemented that achieves both high precision and cost-effectiveness.

The ZED-X20P features a robust security architecture to ensure the integrity of location data, and provides end-to-end security with features such as secure boot, signed firmware, and encrypted data storage. It supports Galileo OSNMA to ensure reliable data communication, and full-band frequency diversity also enhances protection against jamming.

Additionally, the ZED-X20P maintains the existing ZED form factor, providing an easy upgrade path for ZED-F9P customers, and is designed for easy integration into new and existing products.
