Samsung Electronics has been selected as a supplier of cooling equipment for the government-implemented '2025 Low-Income Energy Efficiency Improvement Project.'

The 'Low-Income Energy Efficiency Improvement Project' is a welfare project led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy that supports energy-deprived groups vulnerable to climate change by replacing them with high-efficiency cooling and heating equipment.

Samsung Electronics has been selected as a supplier of air conditioning equipment for four consecutive years starting in 2022 in recognition of its excellence in high-efficiency air conditioning products and its systematic business execution experience from installation to after-sales service.

Samsung Electronics will sequentially supply the new 2025 wall-mounted air conditioner products to approximately 18,000 households selected by 226 local governments nationwide starting in April. The number of households to which Samsung Electronics will supply high-efficiency air conditioners is approximately 60,000 households cumulatively over the four years from 2022 to this year.

Samsung Electronics' new air conditioner products supplied this year have the highest energy efficiency rating, reducing the burden of electricity bills. It also features a filter that can be washed with running water, reducing filter replacement costs.

It has a 'fast cooling' function that quickly and coolly fills every corner of the house with powerful cold air.

In addition, it is equipped with an 'antibacterial copper ultra-fine filter' with a strong antibacterial effect of 99.9%, and supports functions such as △ 'auto cleaning' that senses the temperature after cooling is finished and automatically cleans, and △ 'tropical night sleep' that automatically adjusts the air conditioner settings according to your sleep pattern so that you can sleep comfortably at the optimal temperature.
