Samsung Electronics is collaborating with Kia to expand its AI B2B solution 'SmartThings Pro' to the mobility sector.

Samsung Electronics signed a 'Strategic Business Agreement for Samsung Electronics SmartThings Pro-Kia PBV Business Cooperation' at the 'Kia EV Day' media event held at the Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain on the 24th (local time).

This agreement is an extension of the ‘Samsung Electronics-Hyundai Motor Group Technology Partnership and Mutual Cooperation Business Agreement’ signed last September.

Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Group have been working together to provide customers with more convenient and valuable mobility experiences based on ‘SmartThings’, and through this agreement, they have expanded the scope of their cooperation from the B2C market to the B2B sector with ‘SmartThings Pro’.

'SmartThings Pro' is a business customer-tailored solution that provides efficient energy savings and integrated space management by linking various devices, solutions, and services from residential facilities to office buildings and commercial facilities.

This solution enables B2B customers to connect their vehicles with external businessNice space can be connected and managed efficiently.

For example, with 'SmartThings Pro', self-employed people and small business owners can integrate and manage in-store air conditioners, signage, and home appliances with automated routines, making operation and management much more convenient.

Even if you operate an unmanned store or shared accommodation remotely, you can manage your business in real time while your vehicle is moving.

In addition, it enables easy operation by providing advance notification of necessary tasks such as replacement of consumables and maintenance list before the vehicle arrives at the store or accommodation.

‘SmartThings Pro’ is also a useful solution for food truck operators.

Food trucks that move frequently require the operation and cleanup of many devices before and after business hours, but with 'SmartThings Pro', you can control multiple devices at once, allowing you to focus more on cooking.
