Enhanced Oscilloscope RF Analysis Capabilities, Increased Engineer Insight
Tektronix has enhanced the RF analysis capabilities of its oscilloscopes, significantly increasing engineers’ insight and productivity.
Tektronix announced today the release of a new version 5.4 of its SignalVu spectrum analysis software, which enables simultaneous multi-signal analysis on up to eight channels.
By using this software with an oscilloscope, engineers can expand their instrument into a comprehensive wireless system tester without investing in additional equipment such as a vector signal analyzer.
This provides great advantages, especially in advanced applications where RF measurements and time domain analysis are required.
This software is available for Tektronix 5 Series MSO, 6 Series MSO or DPO70000 oscilloscopes.
In particular, the enhanced digital modulation analysis capability allows users to access more than 26 wireless modulation schemes, including up to 1024QAM for high bandwidth requirements.
Facilitates analysis of up to eight simultaneous signal sources, significantly improving engineers' insight and productivity.
Addressing the needs of complex multi-signal, multi-standard, or multi-device under test (DUT) scenarios, it has established itself as an essential tool in modern RF and wireless R&D. />
“SignalVu’s multi-channel analysis capabilities are essential to engineers specializing in advanced communications, and Tektronix strives to be their trusted RF and wireless signal analysis partner,” a Tektronix representative said. “SignalVu is an essential tool for engineers in advanced communications, and unlike competing products, Tektronix’s software provides an intuitive user interface, cost efficiency, and meets complex analysis needs.”
He continued, “This software is expected to have a profound impact on the market by solving existing signal analysis problems while establishing new industry standards.”
Following the release of SignalVu version 5.3 in 2023, the new version 5.4 improves several features, including phase and amplitude difference measurements, enabling measurements in a higher frequency range, which is especially important for applications such as complex radar systems.
SignalVu software provides in-depth analysis of RF signals in a wide range of applications, including wireless communications, defense and government projects, microwave, and IoT technologies. It helps oscilloscope users better understand and analyze complex systems, including radar, electronic warfare, SATCOM, MIMO, uplink/downlink, mesh networks, and phased array systems.
This software is available free for 30 days. For more information, visit Tek.com.
