Accurate S-parameter Measurement Methods and PCB Material Characterization
In this seminar, we will examine methods for accurately measuring S-parameters and simulating PCB traces.
As signal transmission speed and frequency increase, the high-frequency characteristics of transmission lines such as PCB, connectors, and cables become increasingly important. These high-frequency characteristics can be expressed as insertion loss, return loss, impedance, and crosstalk. These characteristics are represented in the form of S-parameters for design, simulation, and analysis. S-parameters of transmission lines can be obtained through measurement or simulation.
