Techniques for Improving Accuracy in Testing Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Powertrain Systems

The automotive market is currently undergoing a rapid transition from internal combustion engines to electric drive systems, and advanced safety systems along with sensors for autonomous driving are being added and integrated. Furthermore, we have reached a point where we must completely change existing concepts about vehicles and testing strategies. Therefore, this webinar will conduct an in-depth discussion on these topics.

Session 1 [Keynote] ADAS and EV Controller Testing Strategy
In the first session, we will explore the ADAS and EV controller testing strategy presented by Jamie Smith, NI Automotive Solution Director. In particular, through representative case studies such as Audi's sensor fusion testing, SUBARU's motor HIL system, and HARMAN's standard test system for infotainment systems, we will introduce multifaceted testing approaches.

Session 2 Electric Vehicle Testing
In the second session, we will conduct a seminar on methods to increase the accuracy of power system testing in electric vehicles.
China aims to increase zero-emission vehicles to 5 million units by 2020, and Germany and the United Kingdom plan to discontinue the sale of gasoline and diesel vehicles by 2030. As a result, testing issues related to batteries and inverters, which are key components of eco-friendly vehicles, are increasing.
Regarding this, we will conduct a seminar with Dr. Ben Black and Sam Burhans, Product Marketing Manager, on factors to consider in testing and methods to improve accuracy.
