[Automotive Ethernet] Verification of Key Measurement Tasks and Advanced Signal Separation and PAM3 Measurement Techniques for This Purpose
Ethernet, which has been widely used in consumer and industrial applications based on IEEE standards, is beginning to attract attention as a next-generation automotive networking infrastructure.
In particular, with the commercialization of fully autonomous vehicles expected by 2035, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment, and vehicle-to-everything communication (V2X) technologies are being actively researched, and the application of Ethernet is receiving increasing attention.
Tektronix optimizes the complexity of testing to support the successful implementation of Ethernet.
When measuring automotive Ethernet using the conventional Full-Duplex method, it is necessary to prevent the measurement instrument from affecting the ECU. To minimize this impact, the cable is physically disconnected for measurement, but this introduces insertion loss due to the coupler.
In this webinar, we will demonstrate how to perform signal analysis and protocol decoding conveniently without disconnecting the cable by using Tektronix oscilloscopes together with Signal Separation software.
