The PCIe interface is one of the most powerful high-speed serial interfaces, but it is extremely challenging for verification and measurement engineers to test.

TX and RX measurements require high-level measurement techniques and correspondingly high-spec, high-cost equipment such as oscilloscopes and BERT scopes. Additionally, equipment calibration, measurement setup, and numerous eye diagram measurements in TX and RX testing require significant time and effort.

The TMT4 is equipment launched to address these difficulties with oscilloscopes and BERT scopes.

It is designed to supplement compliance test systems such as oscilloscopes and BERT scopes, enabling problems to be detected dramatically faster and at lower cost during the early design process before in-depth inspection through existing oscilloscope and BERT equipment.
