17th Asset Report, Comprehensive Overview of Electrified Powertrain Trends and Development Strategies
An opportunity has been created to share the latest trends and development strategies for electrified powertrains, the heart of future vehicles.
The Korea Automobile Research Institute (President Jin Jong-wook, hereinafter referred to as KARI) has opened a forum for exchange to establish sustainable future mobility solutions using electrified powertrain (e-PT) technology.
Hanjayeon held the 17th Jasan Eobo event under the theme of 'Finding the power to accelerate future mobility with E-powertrain in the heart of future cars' at the COEX Startup Branch located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The event was attended by approximately 200 people including Hanjayeon Director Jin Jong-wook, Vice Director Lim Gwang-hoon, FTA Comprehensive Support Center Director Joo Won-seok, Daegu City One-Stop Corporate Investment Center Director Seong Ju-hyeon, Investment Attraction Division Manager Kim Dae-young, Future Mobility Division Team Leader Kwon Gi-dal, KGM Managing Director Shim Jun-yeop, Hanyang University Professor Myeong-seop Lim, and officials from automakers, mid-sized and small parts companies, and related organizations.
The Jasan Eobo event hosted by Hanjayeon is an abbreviation for ‘Uniting and Supporting the Automobile Industry’ and is a regular networking event aimed at sharing useful information and promoting collaboration among members based on regular meetings and exchanges among members of the mobility industry.
The 17th Asset Management event covered a wide range of topics including technology trends and development strategies for electric powertrains that determine the driving performance of future mobility, and Hanjaeyeon Daegyeong (Daegu & Mid)It was planned with a variety of contents, such as introducing the mobility industry policy of Daegu Metropolitan City, where the Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters is located.
Specifically, it started with the welcoming speech by President Jin Jong-wook of Hanjayone, followed by the following topics: △E-Powertrain, Solutions for a Sustainable Future (Professor Myeong-Seop Lim of Hanyang University), △EV Drive System X-in-1 Technology Trends (Hanjayone Daegyeong Regional Headquarters Director Yeong-Wook Son), △Daegu City's Mobility Industry Promotion Policy and Investment Environment (Daegu City's Kwon Ki-Dal, Future Mobility Division Team Leader, and Kim Dae-Young, Investment Attraction Division Manager), △E-Powertrain Integrated Technology Development Strategy (KGM Managing Director Jun-Yeop Shim), and △Presentation of Leading Companies (Sambo Motors, Broze Korea).
Starting with this event in particular, Hanjayeon established a new K-info presentation that delivers information on mobility industry policies, trade changes, and major events, and had Jang Seong-hoon, a customs broker at the FTA and Trade Comprehensive Support Center, explain export support measures to companies attending the event on the topic of “ASEAN Market Entry Strategy Utilizing FTAs (Korea-ASEAN, RCEP, Korea-Philippines).”
In addition, the company took the lead in supporting various technological exchanges and discovering new partner companies by operating a research results and technology consulting booth of the 'Vehicle Electrification Research Center' under the Daegyeong Regional Headquarters and a promotion booth for three innovative companies (Irae AMS, Sambo Motors, and Broze Korea).
