Applied Materials Korea (CEO Kwang-sun Park), a global leader in advanced semiconductor and display material engineering solutions, will share semiconductor technology and trends in the AI era at ‘SEMICON Korea 2025.’
Applied Materials announced that it will participate in 'SEMICON Korea 2025', the largest semiconductor industry exhibition in Korea, held at COEX in Seoul from February 19th to 21st.
Applied Materials will showcase its technology leadership in the semiconductor industry through a variety of programs including keynote speeches, technology symposiums, forums, and seminars.
On February 19th, Dr. Prabhu Raja Prabu Raja, President of Applied Materials Semiconductor Products Group, will deliver a keynote address on “Accelerating Energy-Efficient Semiconductors through Innovation through Collaboration.”
This talk will highlight insights into technologies to improve power efficiency of semiconductor chips for the AI era and the importance of collaboration between industry, academia, and government for a sustainable future for the semiconductor industry.
Two experts from Applied Materials will present at the SEMI Technology Symposium (STS).
On February 19, Gaurav Thareja, Director of Applied Materials, will present on “GAA Transistors for 2nm and Beyond: Device Performance and Reliability Insights,” and on February 20, Sangjun Choi, Director of Global Product Marketing, will present on “High Aspect Ratio and High Productivity Etch Technologies for Next-Generation 3D Integration.”
At the Cyber Security Forum, Kannan Perumal, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Vice President of Information Security, and Seokwon Kang, Director of Information Security, will present on ‘Cyber Security Across the Semiconductor Industry Supply Chain.’
Director of Patterning, Yeo Jeong-ho, will present 'Inflection Points and Trends in Electron-Beam (eBeam) Patterning Control for Improving Power, Performance, Size, Cost, and Time-to-Market (PPACt)' at the Metrology and Inspection (MI) Forum.
Applied will also participate in the 'Meet the Experts' mentoring seminar to foster future talents in the semiconductor industry, and on February 21, it will hold the '2025 Applied Wonderland' career event for college students in the conference room on the 3rd floor of COEX.r />
This event will provide a detailed introduction to Applied Materials, mentoring with executives and employees, and recruitment information to students seeking employment in the semiconductor industry.
