Samsung Electronics won a total of 29 'CES Innovation Awards', including four Best of Innovation Awards, at 'CES 2025', the world's largest electronics show to be held in Las Vegas, USA in January next year.
By field, 16 awards were given to video displays, 4 to home appliances, 5 to mobile, 3 to semiconductors, and 1 to Harman.
In the visual display category, it won 16 innovation awards, including three top innovation awards, and in the home appliance category, it won four innovation awards for new 2025 home appliance products and services that include the 'AI Vision Inside' function.
AI Vision Inside is a function that automatically recognizes food items being put in and taken out of the refrigerator and notifies you when the set storage period of the food items is approaching, allowing you to efficiently manage food items.
In the mobile category, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro won the Best Innovation Award, and the Galaxy AI, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Tab S10, and Galaxy Watch7 won four innovation awards.
The Galaxy AI uses the Provisual Engine to provide more stable images, from the camera's zoom function to low-light portraits.It provides quality and allows easy and efficient editing with photo assist and editing suggestion functions.
In the semiconductor sector, LPDDR5X, Exynos W1000, and ALoP image sensor solutions received innovation awards.
LPDDR5X is a DRAM package with a maximum performance speed of 10.7 Gbps and the industry's thinnest 12nm-class, which helps control the temperature inside the device, making it an optimized solution for the on-device AI era.
The Exynos W1000 is Samsung Electronics' first wearable processor to use a 3nm process, and ALoP is an image sensor solution that dramatically reduces module size while also improving brightness.
Harman International's JBL Tour Pro3 wireless earphones also won an innovation award.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is transferring its CES Innovation Award-winning know-how to C-Lab startups, helping many startups win CES Innovation Awards and enter the global market.
At this year’s CES 2025, C-Lab startups won a total of 12 innovation awards. Samsung Electronics’ CES Innovation Award-winning products will be on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 7 to 10 next year, while C-Lab award-winning products will be on display at Sands Expo Eureka Park.
