Mouser Electronics announced on the 26th that it is supplying Qorvo's MMIC power amplifier 'QPA2308'.

Designed for commercial and military applications, the QPA2308 provides high power density and Power Added Efficiency (PAE) in 5~6GHz RF-based circuits.

This Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) power amplifier, produced in Qorvo's 0.25um GaN-on-SiC process, simplifies system integration and delivers stable performance in a compact 15.24 × 15.24mm bolt-down package.

The QPA2308 features saturated output power of 60W or higher and large-signal gain of 21dB or higher. PAE is 47% or higher, and the RF output power at which positive gate current begins to flow is measured at 48dBm. Input return loss ranges from 14~23dB, and output return loss is 13dB. Operating temperature is -40~+85°C, and power dissipation is 140W (at 85°C). To simplify system integration, it supports two RF ports fully matched at 50Ω, with DC blocking capacitors coupled at each port.

Compliant with RoHS standards, the QPA2308 is suitable for use in RF applications such as C-band radar, satellite, space communications, and electronic warfare technology.
