UPS and PDU Equipped in Low-Profile Design
A data center solution has been released to address issues such as low resilience in edge computing and a shortage of on-site IT management personnel.

On the 21st, Schneider Electric unveiled a 6U Wall Mount EcoStruxure Micro Data Center that supports IT networks across all environments ranging from small-scale edge applications to large cloud data centers.

The 6U Wall Mount EcoStruxure Micro Data Center applying low-profile design incorporates large edge servers, networking equipment, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and power distribution unit (PDU).
By applying shock-absorbing packaging, equipment can be pre-integrated into the enclosure before arriving on-site, enabling faster deployment. Additionally, the integrated dust filter on the front and ventilation fan on the rear can prevent contamination from dust and foreign substances in industrial sites, supporting operations in diverse business environments.
Jim Simonelli, Senior Vice President of Emerging Business, Secure Power Division at Schneider Electric, stated that "the 6U Wall Mount EcoStruxure Micro Data Center ensures perfect resilience in cloud and edge environments through EcoStruxure IT Expert and EcoStruxure Asset Advisor," and added that "it also supports 24-hour remote monitoring services, helping customers build secure business environments and reduce the possibility of data loss."

Microchip Technology announced that by adding this functionality to its Adaptec Smart Storage Adapter products, it now supports full interoperability with American Megatrends' MegaRAC SP-X remote monitoring and diagnostics firmware and the MegaRAC solution development framework. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers.
