TeamViewer and Google Cloud Expand Collaboration

TeamViewer announced on the 14th that it has listed its industrial augmented reality (AR) platform, TeamViewer Frontline, on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
TeamViewer and Google Cloud have successfully conducted marketing and sales activities specialized for the retail sector, including the use of Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 in picking and training processes in warehouses, logistics centers, and stores.
Based on these examples, both companies are expanding their cooperative relationship beyond manufacturing to other industrial sectors.
Through collaboration, TeamViewer and Google Cloud plan to support businesses in reducing operating costs and downtime, improving employee productivity and process efficiency, and enhancing customer and employee satisfaction.
Dai Vu, Managing Director of Google Cloud Marketplace, said, “Many companies are utilizing augmented reality (AR) technology to [address] the work processes of industrial site workers“We are focusing on optimizing the SW workflow,” he said. “Customers can provide step-by-step instructions to industrial site workers via wearable devices using TeamViewer Frontline’s industrial AR platform registered on the Google Cloud Marketplace, and support the digitalization of the workplace based on the cloud.”

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers. This acquisition is a measure to address the high-heat and high-density server environments created by AI proliferation.
