El Corporation Provides '3D Custom Firearms' to Korean National Shooting Team at International Shooting Competition

Lightweighting gun parts to fit player's hand size and shape, reducing costs
The Korean national team will compete in the World Practical Shooting Championships with shooting firearms manufactured by domestic companies using 3D printing technology.
The Korea Practical Shooting Federation/IPSC KOREA announced that it has signed a business agreement with 3D printing specialist El Corporation (CEO Lim Jun-hwan) for the 10 Korean national team members competing in the 'IPSC Practical Shooting World Championships' and has produced customized parts for each athlete using 3D printing technology.
El Corporation announced that it applied 3D printing technology to custom-manufacture grips and parts for practical shooting guns according to the size and shape of the player's hand, and that it has made them lighter. He also added that cost savings were achieved by manufacturing expensive parts, such as gun stands, using a 3D printer.
Lim Jun-hwan, CEO of L Corporation, stated, “Just as we contributed to improving the performance of South Korean archers by custom-making grips using 3D printers during last year’s Tokyo Olympics, we helped enhance the athletes’ skills in practical shooting by supporting them with 3D printing technology.” He added, “L Corporation will continue to cooperate with IPSC Korea to develop safe and high-quality parts and equipment at reasonable prices, thereby contributing to the development and popularization of practical shooting.”
Meanwhile, the Korea Practical Shooting Federation/IPSC KOREA has selected 10 Korean national team members to participate in the 'IPSC Handgun World Shoot,' which is held every three years by the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC).
This year's competition will be held in Pattaya, Thailand from November 16 to December 3, with approximately 1,600 athletes from 100 countries participating, and the total number of participants is estimated to be around 3,000. The Korea Practical Shooting Federation/IPSC KOREA has selected 10 members for the Korean national team.

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers. This acquisition is a measure to address the high-heat and high-density server environments created by AI proliferation. Ecolab plans to combine its water management and digital monitoring capabilities with CoolIT's hardware technology to expand its data center cooling business.
