MOXA, a company in the wireless solutions field, has launched the AWK-A series, a WLAN device for reliable wireless connectivity with enhanced protection features.

The AWK-A series provides robust dual isolation that protects power input and antenna ports from interference such as ESD and inrush current. It also incorporates MOXA's proprietary AeroLink protection technology that safeguards wireless connectivity with an enhanced failover mode. This technology creates redundant wireless links between the AP and client within milliseconds (ms).

Wireless networks offer numerous advantages including cost reduction, flexibility, scalability, and ease of network expansion and reconfiguration. However, network reliability in harsh and complex environments has become a major obstacle for operators adopting wireless solutions for mission-critical applications.

To ensure wireless network reliability, the AWK-A series industrial AP/bridge/client devices deliver up to 300Mbps throughput for high-bandwidth applications such as video surveillance, innovative turbo roaming technology that implements seamless roaming within milliseconds, and DFS channel support that allows avoidance of interference from existing wireless infrastructure through a wider range of 5GHz channel selection.

This product provides data transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps and features built-in antenna and power isolation designed to protect against external electrical interference. It also supports DFS channels that enable a wider range of 5GHz channel selection to avoid interference with basic wireless infrastructure.
