Lenovo Introduces Workstations and Mobile Workstations

Lenovo announced its participation in Autodesk University Korea 2015 held at COEX from November 12 to 13.
Lenovo is exhibiting workstations and mobile workstations that have established competitiveness across various industries including architecture, construction, engineering, and media at the conference. Simultaneously participating in the product booth and delivering direct session presentations, Lenovo introduced the ThinkStation P Series workstations and mobile workstations ThinkPad P50/P70.
Lenovo's ThinkStation P Series (P900, P700, P500, P300) workstation products feature a modular structure that enables easy and convenient upgrades without tools. With flexibility to optionally include a slim ODD and 29-in-1 card in a single bay, they boast efficient cooling capabilities through a 3-channel cooling design. Notably, the P900 supports up to 14 drives including M.2 SSD, providing scalability.
Enhancing Work Stability for Photographers and Digital Content Creators
To enable professionals such as photographers and digital content creators to work reliably, the mobile workstations ThinkPad P50/P70 are 15.6-inch and 17-inch notebooks respectively that emphasize portability. Equipped with Mobile Intel Xeon Processor E3-1500 v5, they support DDR4 memory with ECC functionality, enhancing stability for key applications. Additionally, featuring NVIDIA Quadro GPUs, they deliver unparalleled graphics performance and provide accurate color reproduction at all times with PANTONE Calibrator.

For those who consult about product purchases on-site and make purchases, a monitor or docking system will be provided free of charge, and an additional gift worth 70,000 won will be given to the first 20 customers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers. This acquisition is a measure to address the high-heat and high-density server environments created by AI proliferation. Ecolab plans to combine its water management and digital monitoring capabilities with CoolIT's hardware technology to expand its data center cooling business.
