Microsoft Starts Xbox One Discount Sale
Published2015.12.15 18:05Microsoft Korea announced that it will hold a special Xbox One discount event starting on the 16th.
During the sale period, the Xbox One console and all packages will be sold at a discounted price of 40,000 won. This Xbox One sale event will run until January 15, 2016, at all participating online and offline stores nationwide, and may end early if supplies run out.
Microsoft received a great response in the second half of this year by releasing exclusive blockbuster titles such as "Halo 5: Guardians," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," and "Forza Motorsport 6" in Korean. Next year, highly anticipated Xbox exclusive titles such as "Quantum Break," "Scalebound," and "Crackdown 3" are scheduled for release. Additionally, last November, the company implemented backward compatibility features, starting with a new Windows 10-based UI and 104 titles. Regarding backward compatibility, there are plans to continuously add supported titles. Microsoft emphasized that it is “the best time to enjoy the Xbox One.”
"If you spend the holiday season with Xbox, you will find enjoyment you won't regret," said Yoo Woo-jong, Senior Vice President of the Consumer Channel Group at Microsoft Korea. "We would like to express our gratitude to the fans who always support Xbox, and we will strive to create the optimal environment for enjoying the Xbox."
