Participating in CES 2016 to provide a variety of entertainment

Nikon is participating in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016, held in Las Vegas, USA.

At this exhibition, we plan to offer expert lectures, consultations, product experiences, and a variety of entertainment. At CES 2015, the 360 Project was the most popular program among visitors. The 360 Project is an experiential event that provides both visual appeal and entertainment by arranging multiple FX-format DSLR cameras, the D750, in a circle and capturing images from various angles using the time-lapse function. On-site staff instantly stitch the images together one by one to create a three-dimensional result, displaying it on a screen to provide participants with a special, cinematic experience.

Koichiro Yamada, President of Nikon Imaging Korea, stated, “Based on Nikon’s long-standing technological expertise accumulated over nearly a century, we will provide visitors with a variety of experiences, including the 360 Project, lectures, and consultations. As the scale has grown significantly compared to the previous event, we expect it to be a great success.”

CES 2016 is a global consumer electronics trade show held in Las Vegas, USA, for four days from January 6 to 9, 2016. Participating companies include domestic firms such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, and Google, as well as various global IT and electronics companies; it is the largest event where the present and future of the industry can be observed in one place. In particular, the participation of automakers such as Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Toyota, Ford, and GM has further expanded the scale of the exhibition, and the event is expected to attract significant attention.
