Saerotek Launches Ultra-High-Speed 2-Bay Docking Station with Clone Copy Support

Storage specialist Saerotek announced on the 12th that it has released a new model of its ultra-high-speed 2-bay docking station, the 'ProBox (model name: DP-20U3-6G PLUS)', which supports SATA3 6G, UASP, USB3.0, and Clone. In addition, this product is an upgraded version of the previous model, 'Duplicator Pro (DP-20U3-6G)', and it features a larger capacity of up to 8TB, support for a wider range of OSes, and a new design with a soft and luxurious feel in a circular shape.
According to Saerotek, this product can use both 2.5 inch (6.3 cm) and 3.5 inch (8.9 cm) HDD/SSD, and it explained that it implements the best speed and performance by supporting SATA3 6G and USB3.0 speed enhancement function UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol). “ProBox” supports a stand-alone copy function that allows you to easily copy HDD/SSD with just one press of a button without a PC, and can back up not only data but also the entire system area such as the operating system (OS). When copying HDD to HDD in this mode, it can exhibit a maximum speed of 162 MB/s (475 MB/s for SSD), showing a speed improvement of up to 102% compared to general SATA2 3G docking station products (80 MB/s) of other companies. Also, when copying files with USB3.0, SATA3 6G, UASP, the HDD shows a speed of up to 186MB/s (418MB/s for SSD).
Supports 8TB HDD, 2-bay external hard drive and convenient HDD replacement
Meanwhile, the “Pro Box” has the advantage of being able to be used as a large-capacity 2-bay external hard drive. When connected to a PC’s USB3.0 or USB2.0, it can be used as a 2-bay external hard drive with a maximum capacity of 8TB HDD, and since it is in the form of a dock, even beginners can easily replace the HDD/SSD.
In addition, this product has an HDD slot protection cover to minimize HDD/SSD shaking, thereby ensuring data stability and preventing contamination by foreign substances such as dust. It supports various OSs including the latest Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.6, and supports the Plug & Play function that automatically recognizes the product when plugged into the PC without a separate installation driver, as well as the Hot Swap function that allows you to freely connect and remove the product even when the PC is turned on.
The appearance, which is different from the previous model, is also worth noting. The 'Pro Box' breaks away from the bulky square style of general docking station products and emphasizes a soft and sophisticated luxurious design with a round shape, and the blue LED that indicates the copying progress in 25% units makes the 'Pro Box' more sensual and sophisticated through the overall subtle harmony.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
