Ectaco Launches Ultra-Lightweight Portable Scanner Under 400g

Ectaco announced the launch of the 'F1200,' the industry's only ultra-lightweight A4 portable scanner weighing less than 400g, targeting financial institutions and sales representatives who frequently scan outside.
The Ectaco 'F1200' is characterized by the ability to automatically feed documents and save scanned files to a memory card simply by turning on the power with the card inserted and inserting the original, without the need for driver installation or running a scanning program. In particular, its horizontal automatic feeder design is specialized for scanning identification cards, making it especially convenient when scanning important documents such as contracts while on the go.
With a scanning process taking just 5 seconds and the ability to scan up to 20 pages per minute, it is useful for scanning large volumes of documents. Supporting document sizes up to A4 (210x297mm), it is suitable for SOHO offices or homes where space for large multifunction printers or flatbed scanners is limited. Featuring a 1.45” color LCD, it allows for immediate quality verification after scanning. Weighing approximately 350g, it is lightweight and convenient to carry in a briefcase, and the use of AA batteries enhances convenience for outdoor use. Scanned photos are saved as JPG or PDF files with a maximum resolution of 1200 DPI.

If you use the separately provided Windows software, it supports a feature (OCR Direct) that recognizes editable text simultaneously with scanning and automatically types it into document creation programs such as MS Word or Hangul, making it useful when you need to type or edit large amounts of documents.
